Do you ever ask yourself the questions – who am I? Where do I belong? Why do I feel so left out? Why do I feel so sad all the time? What’s going to happen next in my life? Who are my real friends? Does anyone understand me?
Being a young person can be super hard. So much pressure, from family, parents, peers, society. Pressure to fit in, to be a certain way, to figure out who you are. Maybe it doesn’t feel fair that you are expected to know what to do with your life and how to be a grown up, when you haven’t felt supported. Maybe you feel lost, confused about your identity – your sexuality, gender identity, your cultural identity, or who you truly are.
Perhaps I could be someone who could help you explore all these questions and thoughts. I might be someone to support you through the transition toward adulthood, to help you find your voice and your identity. Maybe you’ve spent your whole life having adults tell you what to do – and you just need a chance to be heard for a change. Perhaps you need a space and time that’s yours to explore your own life, and not worry about anyone else for a change. When you meet with me, the time and space is yours – and I will listen to you and believe you.
